Life in a Slum

Slum is a place that if you go there you would die because you’re not strong enough like the people that live there and suffer because of being poor. A slum is where people live all together in a poor muddy area that has many diseases. Slums have a negative effect on human populations because slums have polluted water, dirty living conditions, and many diseases. Polluted water may have many problems.

Slums have a negative effect on human populations because slums have polluted water. “It’s a Collection of what's known in slum vernacular as "flying toilets" - flimsy bags filled with human waste". It means that in the slums there is no place to go to the restroom. Because the people that live there might get sick of the human waste. The dirty wither in slums makes people sick and also creates dirty homes.                                                                 

Slums have a negative effect on human populations because slums have dirty living conditions. “The houses are made of mud and they're very crowded. And the slum is very dirty, you can see. And you can smell. Few steps into Kieran we encounter brown-green water flowing through an open ditch. That's the sewage. Now it's through the slum."  It means that in the slums people have to live in houses made of mud. The houses made of mud they can fall on top of the people that are livening there.  The effect of dainty living conditions many cross diseases.

Sanitation systems are nearly absent. Human waste leaches into the water people drink and contaminates the food they eat. It carries typhoid and other diseases that can de beadily, especially to young children. It means that in the slums people have many diseases. By this research it proves that slums have polluted water, dainty living conditions and many diseases.
